I cannot speak highly enough of Herricks Jewelers. This store is family owned (woohoo!) and my family has been going to it for years, but it wasn't until recently that I was able to experience this gem as an adult. I stopped in after trying three other jewelers in hopes of taking some family jewelry and turning it into a wedding band that fit with my (low pronged) engagement ring. Some places I was told it wasn't possible, and some places said the stones weren't worth enough to reset them. At Herricks, I worked mostly with Mike and John, whose expertise and love of what they do was so evident from the second I walked into the store. I found it exhausting to search for a jeweler who would not only take the time to hear my ideas, evaluate the stones and metals I brought in without judgement, and prioritize sentimentality over current fads, but Mike immediately game me his full, undivided attention. He was patient and receptive to both my ideas and my concerns, and he and John took the time to explain the science behind all of my methods they used for the steps along the way. Everyone in the store truly makes my ideas come to life (even the folks behind the scenes!)

When you walk into the store, you're not going to get the artificial bright lights and granite floors that you find at other jewelers- but the work they do at Herricks Jewelers is genuine, meticulous, and beautiful from start to finish. I will be forever grateful they were able to give a second life to my grandmother's ring and for giving me an experience that will be one day passed down with my "new" jewelry.

When I say this jewelry store is the best, I mean it. I have gone here numerous times after a friend referred me to them. John and Mike are the most honest guys in the business. It is always a pleasure doing business with them. They are kind and patient, and take the time to educate you about your jewelry and the repair process. I have had them repair and set numerous pieces of jewelry of mine, and each one has been fixed 10/10 perfectly. Thank you for everything!

I waited to write a review because I purchased an engagement ring but i didn't want my girlfriend at the time to read the review to give her a hint. I had John as a sales rep and I have to say he was excellent I truly wish more sales reps were like him he was not pushy making a big purchase like that and he also spent a lot of time picking out a nice ring. If I need more jewelry I definitely would recommend John.

Cannot say enough good things about the staff here. I worked with Mike on an engagement ring and I was extremely picky to say the least. It took awhile but was more than worth it in the end. I actually missed going in there once we finally found one. Super helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process and even when we had to come back to get the ring resized. Couldn't recommend them any more!!

"I have been going to this place for a few years mostly for small items- batteries, broken chains and the like. They are always super nice and get me on my way in as short a time as possible. Their prices are good - they don't kill you for a watch battery for instance and if you have to leave the item for repair, it is done exactly when they say it will be. They have a full line of goods for sale as well if you are in the market for a new watch or diamond... Big parking lot out front."
