Herricks Jewelers is proud to service its many clients in the Garden City Park location (located in the Mama Theresa's Shopping Center on Jericho Turnpike) since 1976.
We are a complete, full-service center for fine jewelry sales, repairs and custom designs- while also including appraisals, jewelry cleaning, watch repairs and batteries. We offer competitive prices for our inventory of fine jewelry, each piece individually hand-picked, ensuring top quality in everything we offer.
Our History
The owners are second generation jewelers, highly qualified with GIA certificates and a supporting, helpful staff behind them. Time and time again, our customers have come to rely on us for providing efficient and accurate work backed by the complete understanding their needs aligned by a life-long understanding of our craft. The staff at Herricks Jewelers is fully trained in all areas of the industry to ensure our clients the best information and the highest level of quality. Herricks maintains a famiy tradition of servicing the community as a fundamental core of their golden reputation.
A Family Tradition
Herricks Jewelers carries a wealth of history in the industry of fine jewelry and watches. They are a family owned and operated business run by 2nd generation Jewelry aficionados John, Michael and Egidio.
Originally founded as TORE JEWELERS in Jackson Heights, NY- their father, Anthony launched the family enterprise by rebuilding watches in the late 1940's. Highly trusted and loved in the "old neighborhood", the popularity of Anthony's store leveraged new business. Services grew because of his talent for precision craftsmanship and his special way of handling the needs of the customer; watches turned into jewelry repair, then into diamond setting and fine jewelry sales.
Today, Anthony's sons carry much of that same 'old school' principles with their clients while fulfilling an expansive array of skill sets in all facets of fine jewelry. "Whenever someone comes into the store looking for a piece of jewelry, they're looking for something unique- something you can hand down to your children... they're coming to us with their emotions wide open and handling them with compassionate care (on a family level) is what makes exploring fine jewelry a pleasurable experience for everyone."
